We are here to win, and it does not happen if we are not all in together with what we are doing. To have this in real life, it means that we TAKE PART, SHARE AND INCLUDE OTHERS. That means that whenever there is an opportunity to invite others to the conversation, or share some new perspective, or our own participation, we are all in to do it.

When doing that, we must EMBRACE DIFFERENCES, so use differences as a strength. With similar people we get good outcomes, but with different people we can evolve something magical. We want to use our differences as our collective superpower.

We don't want to win together without a smile on our faces. EVERYONE DESERVES TO BE TREATED KINDLY. We are all good persons and we share a TRUST IN OTHERS GOOD INTENTION.

We want to find new ways to empower people to make smarter choices, so we need curiosity as a gasoline for growth. To get there, we are actively SEEKING WAYS TO DELIGHT OUR USERS, CUSTOMERS AND CO-WORKERS.

With doing the same we have always done, we will get the same results. When doing the same thing we have done, but better, we get a bit better results. But when finding new ways to delight people, we have an opportunity to achieve totally new results!

Having courage means that in the first place we all BELIEVE IN OURSELVES AND PEOPLE AROUND US.

Whenever we see that something should be challenged or brought up. It’s important that we SPEAK UP AND SHARE OUR SOLUTION. That’s the only way to do things better and to get change to happen. Speak up does not mean that we shout whatever pumps into our minds - when we do it, we do it nicely and show respect towards others.

One part of showing your courage is also to share openly your weaknesses so let’s be open to get and give help. For us, it’s always a brave thing to do to OFFER AND RECEIVE HELP.

I’m part of Oikotie’s employer branding team and I work in a 2 different kind of roles: as Campaign Manager and Product Manager in Vastuullinen työnantaja -campaign. In Campaign Manager’s role I am responsible for the campaign as a whole and developing it. I meet a lot of partners and customers and I coordinate events and campaign contents. As a Product Manager I am responsible for surveys regarding employer branding and developing our survey products. I have been working with employer branding and recruitments over 15 years in different roles: sales, marketing, business and product development. Versatile backround helps me to see things in a different perspective, most of all in customer’s perspective which is extremely important in Product development. Best part in my job is development! It’s great to learn new things and develop different concepts and products even better. I love that in Schibsted people are encouraged to share their ideas with others. Often the best ideas are products of teamwork and even the not-so-great ideas at first are developed together better! On my freetime I like to do yoga, read and listen to music. Also visiting museums and art are close to my heart.

I studied for a BA in Design in London and LA and worked in Hong Kong for a while. Now it seems like a faded memory. More recently 2015 I finished Web Designer studies of which I´m very proud. I have over 20 years of experience in hardware and construction businesses under my belt and I've also had my own Interior Design Company for 4 years. All this combined made me think Rakentaja could be ”the Place” to work. I joined this fabulous Rakentaja-team 2019. I am seriously counting my blessings.

In my work as an Omataloyhtiö.fi PO I'm in charge of the front page changing in due time. We produce content for Building Managers, Real Estate Management and Joint Owners. Basically anything to do with Housing Companies and Facility Management. Our most popular column is ”Ask the Lawyer”, which deals with everyday problems of living in a Housing Company.

I also write articles (produce content) for my clients to Rakentaja.fi and RakentajaPRO.fi about building materials, building construction, interior designing and materials. I write to Puutarha.net too about all the things gardening. I am one of the eight of our fabulous editorial team. Yes, this work requires a bit of knowledge about the business and materials, but most of all this requires knowledge of what information the readers are looking for and what they expect to get.  Are you our subscriber yet? The best thing in Schibsted is its community and workmates. You are welcome to join any conversation and your opinion is accepted and valued.  There is no issue so small you couldn't ask for help. Everyone is approachable and always willing to help out. We have people working in Pori and in Helsinki and I believe this Corona-time has knitted us, on Schibsted Finland level, even closer due to all the meetings online. It has enabled us to meet on a weekly basis and get to know each other, despite the distance.

In my free time I play the flute and do a lot of DIY, gardening and any kind of household renovations. Traveling is very close to my heart and I shall pick up from where we left, when this pandemic is over. But my most important task is this life has been raising my son to be the man he is.

So this is us in Schibsted – ordinary but extraordinary!

I joined Schibsted Finland family in October 2019 and here I feel everyday is rewarding. What I love about SMF are the people, team spirit, challenging work, the sense of humour and the kindness. It warms my heart knowing that our work really makes a difference for the environment. I am in charge of our integrations product development and lately my responsibilities are growing in mobile apps. I love travelling and exploring new places in my free time.

I started working for Schibsted Finland in January 2018 and have been enjoying it ever since! My role has developed a lot during these past years and now I’m working as an HR Manager. My main responsibility is to take care of the processes related to our employment life cycle and develop those even better together with our awesome People team. My favourite things in my work are my team & colleagues, learning something new every day and I am proud to work in a place that makes the world a better and more sustainable place! In my free time, I love to paint and do sports! 🤩

As a Sales Director I lead a group of Account& Key managers in our recruitment solutions unit. I am responsible for maintaining and growing especially online recruitment advertising revenues from existing and new customers. Together with my team we have been able to meet and exceed our sales targets systematically year by year. We offer to our client’s solutions from four categories: recruitment marketing, employer branding, responsibility campaigns and data. I am really passionate about developing myself as a supervisor and digital professional and I must say that our company supports this in an awesome way.

It's hard to say what is my favourite thing in Schibsted Finland, because there are so many good things about our company. The possibility to work with such a diverse talented people creates this unique culture that inspires me on a frequently basis. I would describe our culture with the words: openness, empathy and good boogie.

On my free time, I am an eager fan of Body combat that I have been doing for 20 years, so sports is really important for me to rewind and relax. In addition to that I really enjoy good food and travelling.

I started working for Schibsted Marketplaces Finland in June 2018 and it has been a great journey. In my role, I had a chance to choose which technologies to use and how to implement important features in Tori.

My main responsibilities are leading the mobile team to reach their goals and the iOS development. We are a welcoming bunch and everyone has been very friendly to newcomers. We even have a tech forum to share what we learn, and present it to everyone who is interested.

Apart from my normal duties, I'm in charge of the board game evening at SMF. As you can see, board games are one of my biggest passions and I love to share the hobby with my coworkers.
